022 6-Day Bicycle Race

Poster for a French 6-Day Bicycle Race. These marathons of endurance were all the rage in 1920's Paris and Hemingway even writes of his infatuation with them in his book of Parisian short stories, "A Moveable Feast". This was originally designed for a Hollywood prop house and like many other posters in this collection may be seen in the background of movies, television shows and commercials.
